| Dad is collecting cans so we got to go with him to turn in cans. He was so proud that he got $5 for 5 bags of cans. The machine that takes them up high and dumps them into a big container was really cool to watch. |

| They have big machines like on TV. They have big magnets on the end of them and it moves fridges really easily. |

| We also took our car on the big scale. They weigh it before you take all of the metal out of your car and then you weigh again after you throw it into one of the big piles. Dad was proud that he made $25 today at the scrap metal recycling place. |
