Thanksgiving at Itsy's house

We had so much fun at Aunt Itsy's house. Aunt Caroline came with her clan and we had a blast.  We spent all of our time ...playing!

Some of us had quality computer time.

Some of us worked on the yummy meal.

Most of us just played our hearts out!

Mommy was trying to take a picture of me and Elijah had to jump in and say cheese!

The food was so delicious.  Daddy took the turkey and marinated it and then grilled  it.  It ended up tasting like yummy chicken...I liked it a lot.  Mommy did her favorite fruit salad and sweet potato casserole from Aunt Janice.

We all ate in the backyard...it was great.  The kids could eat a little and then play a little.

This is what happens when the parents aren't looking and we find chalk.  We had so much fun with our cousins and can't wait to be together again for more fun.

Bradley Sausage Festival

After the Day with Thomas I realized that I am not scared of getting my face painted so the first thing I had to get done was that.  I wanted Spider-man, of course.

I was half Spiderman...half Elliott!

Elijah, of course, wanted the train ride.

We also got balloon swords but I broke mine within the first five minutes.  Balloon swords don't do well on grass.

We got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.  They were in the middle of all of the arts and crafts booths.  Santa figured I was into Spiderman so he asked if I was going to get a web shooter.

This is Elijah staring at Santa.  Mommy asked him if he wanted to go see Santa and he just stared and nodded no.

We always get the yummy homemade lollipops at this festival.

Uncle Joe was the best.  He stood in line for about 45 minutes to get us some of the yummy Bradley sausage dogs.  Mommy doesn't really like sausage dogs but these are amazing!

While we waited for sausage dogs Aunt April did a photo shoot.

Then Mommy had to go to the bathroom and came back with this....who doesn't want fried  food at a festival!  It was so good!

We even got to go to the petting zoo.

This our third firetruck in the last month and it never gets old.  We love being in firetrucks.

They had a free carriage ride at the lake.  The only thing was that we had to stand in line for about 45 minutes to go on it.   It was worth it...I got to help steer the horses.

We are so glad that Aunt April and Uncle Joe could come along.  Daddy had to work and Mommy didn't know if she could do the festival being pregnant with two boys.

Elijah's favorite part was not the horses but the wheels!  He just kept staring and saying..."big wheels."

Nothing better than a long day of fun and Aunt April giving us "baby nakes" to eat on the way home.  Aunt April always keeps gummy worms aka baby nakes in her purse at all times....Elijah asked for them as soon as he sees her.

Veteran's Day Parade 2012

We went to the Veteran's Day parade.  They were passing out flags and we waved them tons.

Lainy and Nolan came too!

Elijah loved the policemen on motorcycles.

Lainy and I were standing near the edge waiting for candy to be thrown.

Aunt April and Uncle Joe even came along for the fun.

We love firetrucks at parades!

There is nothing better than the bands.  I was memorized when marching bands would come by.

Mule Day 2012

We went to Mule Day for the first time.  We only had about an hour but we tried to get in as much as possible.  This festival was so big.  We each got to do one activity.  Elijah chose choo-choos ...of course.

I chose rock wall climbing.

It was really hard but Dad helped me.

Got at least halfway up...I am so strong.

Dad got us swords!  Mommy isn't sure if this is a good idea...wood hurts a little more than the plastic swords we have.

We even got to see chickens up close.  I wanted to feed them but only workers could do that.

We will definitely be going back next year!!
