Picnic Lunch

Nothing better than Nee Nee making us a picnic lunch to eat outside.  It was too cold to eat it on the grass so the garage is the next best thing!

Christmas Day

Santa came brought us tons of fun things.

Jasper also decided to take a snack from Santa's plate...that naughty, little Jasper.

Elijah was so excited about his trains.

I love playing dress-up...Super Mario it is!

I got a homemade ice cream maker.  We made ice cream and it tasted horrible!

Elijah loved the candy in the stocking and wouldn't stop eating it.

Back to his love....trains!

Time for a costume change...now I am a Power Ranger!

Power Ranger fighting with Pops.

Besides the trains he got....Elijah loved the train books and had Aunt April read them to him over and over again.

Dad read me a book from Aunt Kat about Christmas.  It was really good!

I loved the castle that Nee Nee and Pops got me.

Pops was trying to convince Elijah that it was fun to wear the Thomas towel.

Elijah's favorite saying right now is " A Big ______."  Everything is "a too big" so the cookie jar got changed from  cookies to "A Big Cookies" for Elijah.  He took the candy off the top and left the cookie for the adults.

How Elijah likes to spend his time after a long day of opening presents.

I loved the spy kit as well and when everyone else was slowing down I was spying on them.

The best part of the day...Amen for iPhones!

Christmas Eve Traditions

First, we opened our Christmas pajamas.  I got Christmas monster pjs and Elijah got pajamas that said he had been good all year.

Then,  we opened our ornaments.  I got an Alvin and the Chipmunk ornament and Elijah got a firetruck ornament.  Elijah didn't get the idea that it was just an ornament and played with it on Pops' back.

We then opened our book about Jesus and read it as a family.  Elijah spent almost the entire book shushing everyone.  He didn't get that when Mommy said shh that he was supposed to be quiet.
We each got to open one gift.  I opened the robot that is run by the iPad.

Elijah opened Thomas with a remote control.  He did not like that Thomas could go by himself and cried "No ...Thomas....go!"  It was traumatizing and he only wanted Thomas to go if he made it go.

And last but not least, cookies for Santa.    I  even added a hershey kiss in the middle for extra decoration.

Christmas at the Roberts' house

All the boys!

All the girls!

After we opened presents, we got to play!  We love Iliana and that she is always willing to play with us!

Boys will be Boys

Dad was taking pictures of us playing at Grandpa's house and caught Nolan in the act...That's right...boys will be boys!

Playing at Grandpa and Nana Del's house

Our favorite part about their house was the spinning chair.  We took turns and I don't know who had more fun....the person spinning or the person being spinned.

We love Grandpa and Nana Del

We are so glad we got to go and see Grandpa and Nana Del.

Our visit to see the rocket ships with Grandpa and Nana Del

We went to visit Grandpa and Nana Del in Mississippi and they took us to where Grandpa works.....with rocket ships.

There were big rocket ships everywhere.

We even enjoyed a ride on the glass elevator....Elaina was a little nervous.
The boys went for a ride on the simulator.  Elijah got in there and then came right back out.  He decided he didn't want to do it.

The girls watched it on the video outside.

Thanks, Grandpa, for the fun ride!

Elijah spent all of his time during the simulation playing with the rocket ship legos.  He didn't want to leave them.

Look at all of these cool astronauts!

We took a break and read our maps to make sure we knew where we were in the museum.

We even got to see the inside of a real rocket ships...really cool.

There was a machine that showed our body heat and we danced around looking at our images on the screen.   Thanks, Grandpa and Nana Del, for taking us to see rocket ships.  It was really fun!
