Pinewood Derby

The Elders Quorum had a pinewood derby for the dads and they let the kids do it too.  I was so excited to make a car.  I painted it and tried to carve some of it out with a butter knife (when Mom and Dad weren't looking).  

Elijah had tons of fun.  He kept himself busy while Dad and I raced cars.

Dad had to race our cars to see if my car really was faster than his.

Elijah wanted the car with money....go for it!

That's right...I won first place!!!  I was so happy!
